Nano-Boosters & Nano-Labels
Higher resolution and better tissue penetration
ChromoTek's Nano-Boosters & Nano-Labels are fluorescent nanoprobes. They consist of 15 kDa small Nanobodies or VHHs, the smallest antibodies known. These single-domain alpaca antibody fragments are covalently coupled to fluorescent dyes. Due to their small size, Nano-Boosters & Nano-Labels allow for higher image resolution:
- Better tissue penetration
- Higher labeling density
- Minimal linkage error: Less than 2 nm epitope-label displacement
- GFP- and RFP-Boosters stabilize, retain, and enhance signals of fluorescent proteins
- Recombinantly expressed and validated
- Superior accessibility and labeling of epitopes in crowded cellular/organelle environments
Nano-Boosters & Nano-Labels can be applied in:
- Immunofluorescence
- Super-resolution microscopy, confocal and epi-fluorescence microscopy
- Light-sheet microscopy imaging including cleared tissue, organ, and animal (vDISCO) staining
HeLa cells transiently transfected with PCNA-mRFP and Tom 70-EGFP were subjected to one-step immunostaining with RFP-Booster Alexa Fluor® 568 (red) and GFP-Booster Alexa Fluor® 488 (green). Images were recorded at the Core Facility Bioimaging at the Biomedical Center, LMU Munich, Germany.
