  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83851-6-RR (PTPN12 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of human ovary cancer using 83851-6-RR

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human ovary cancer tissue slide using 83851-6-RR (PTPN12 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83851-6-RR

Background Information

PTPN12 (Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 12), also referred to as PTP-PEST (PTP-proline, glutamic acid, serine, and threonine-rich), is a cytoplasmic PTP expressed in a wide spectrum of cell types. PTPN12 has been identified as a potent tumor suppressor in human cancers and a critical regulator of cell adhesion and migration (PMID: 26391955, 29743287). PTPN12 is phosphorylated on serine and threonine residues and is rich in proline (P), glutamate (E), serine (S), and threonine (T) residues. Western blot analysis detected PTPN12 at an apparent molecular mass of 110 kDa.
