• 

  WB analysis using 83288-2-RR

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83288-2-RR (NUP85 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  FC experiment of MCF-7 using 83288-2-RR

  1x10^6 MCF-7 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug NUP85 Recombinant antibody (83288-2-RR, Clone:240116E10) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

• 

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83288-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83288-2-RR against Human NUP85 were performed. The affinity constant is 27.3 nM.

Background Information

Nucleoporin 85 (Nup85) (also known as FROUNT) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NUP85 gene. This gene encodes a protein component of the Nup107-160 subunit of the nuclear pore complex. Nuclear pore complexes are embedded in the nuclear envelope and promote bidirectional transport of macromolecules between the cytoplasm and nucleus. The encoded protein can also bind to the C-terminus of chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 2 (CCR2) and promote chemotaxis of monocytes, thereby participating in the inflammatory response.
