  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 30146-1-AP (SEPT3 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30146-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  1X10^6 HEK-293 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human SEPT3 (30146-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30146-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

SEPT3 is a developmentally regulated phosphoprotein. SEPT3 is a member of the septin GTPase family, which can form polymers and contribute to the cytoskeleton. SEPT3 is involved in neuronal autophagy. In the process of autophagy regulation, the level of SEPT3 will change according to the autophagy protein. SEPT3 is specifically expressed in the brain (PMID: 15485489; 35932293).
