  WB analysis of A431 using 66295-1-Ig (same clone as 66295-1-PBS)

  A431 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 66295-1-Ig (P-cadherin antibody at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66295-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of human placenta using 66295-1-Ig (same clone as 66295-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human placenta tissue slide using 66295-1-Ig (P-cadherin antibody) at dilution of 1:250 (under 10x lens. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66295-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

Cadherins are a family of transmembrane glycoproteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion and play an important role in the maintenance of normal tissue architecture. P-cadherin (placental cadherin), also known as CDH3 (cadherin 3), is a classical member of the cadherin superfamily which also include E-, N-, R-, and B-cadherins. Aberrant expression of P-cadherin has been reported in many cancers, including breast, gastric, endometrial, ovarian, and prostate cancer.
