Product Information

69015-1-PBS targets NeutraKine® BMP-4 as part of a matched antibody pair:

MP51307-1: 60897-1-PBS capture and 69015-1-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)

Unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody pair in PBS only (BSA and azide free) storage buffer at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, ready for conjugation.

This conjugation ready format makes antibodies ideal for use in many applications including: ELISAs, multiplex assays requiring matched pairs, mass cytometry, and multiplex imaging applications.Antibody use should be optimized by the end user for each application and assay.

Repeated freeze thaw cycles should be avoided with reconstituted products.

Background Information

BMP4, also named as BMP2B and DVR4, belongs to the TGF-beta family. BMPs have been shown to promote astroglial differentiation both in vitro and in vivo. BMP4 have been shown to be components of serum and are thought to be responsible for this differentiation. BMP4 are expressed mainly in neurons, with minimal expression detected in astrocytes and oligodendrocytes.

This antibody can be used to neutralize the bioactivity of BMP-4.
