Dr. Afrida Rahman-Enyart is a Scientific Liaison and Product Manager for Proteintech and joined the team in March 2022. She is a neurodevelopmental biologist by training and completed dual PhDs in Neuroscience and Psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2019. Afrida then did a postdoc at Northwestern University in the Department of Urology studying the neuromechanisms of pelvic pain, specifically how the gut microbiome and microglial activation modulate symptoms related to interstitial cystitis. Afrida has over 10 years of bench experience in immunoprecipitation, western blotting, and immunofluorescence.
