  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon cancer tissue slide using 30518-1-AP (WNT8A antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Sodium Citrate buffer (pH 6.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30518-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HCT 116 cells using WNT8A antibody (30518-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 30518-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

WNT8A,also named as WNT8D, belongs to the Wnt family of secreted signaling proteins. It is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. These have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. WNT8A may play an important role in the development and differentiation of certain forebrain structures, notably the hippocampus.
