  WB analysis using 16360-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16360-1-AP (TXNRD2 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  WB analysis of rat liver using 16360-1-AP

  rat liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16360-1-AP (TXNRD2 Antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Background Information

Human mitochondrial thioredoxin reductase (TXNRD2) is a selenocysteine-containing enzyme essential for mitochondrial oxygen radical scavenging. Three mammalian thioredoxin reductases exist; a cytosolic (TXNRD1), a mitochondrial (TXNRD2), and a testis-specific thioredoxin reductase (TXNRD3). (PMID: 21247928, PMID: 26199228)
