• 

  WB analysis of human peripheral blood platelets using 21157-1-AP

  Human peripheral blood platelets were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21157-1-AP (PF4 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  WB analysis of mouse spleen using 21157-1-AP

  mouse spleen tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21157-1-AP (PF4 antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IP experiment of mouse serum using 21157-1-AP

Background Information

Platelet factor-4 is a 70-amino acid protein that is released from the alpha-granules of activated platelets and binds with high affinity to heparin. Its major physiologic role appears to be neutralization of heparin-like molecules on the endothelial surface of blood vessels, thereby inhibiting local antithrombin III activity and promoting coagulation
