  SKOV-3 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 55205-1-AP (IGFBP5 antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 55205-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

IGFBP5, also named as IBP5, prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. It alter the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors. This antibody is specific to IGFBP5.
