Background Information
HDGF, also named as HMG1L2, belongs to the HDGF family. It is a heparin-binding protein, with mitogenic activity for fibroblasts. HDGF acts as a transcriptional repressor. It plays important roles in the development and progression of cancers. HDGF may have a synergistic effect with VEGF during cancer development and Progression. (PMID:20848225)
