Background Information
GCHFR,also named as p35 and GFRP, belongs to the GFRP family. GCHFR mediates tetrahydrobiopterin inhibition of GTP cyclohydrolase 1. It modulates BH4 synthesis and oxidative stress. This inhibition is reversed by L-phenylalanine.
