Background Information
BTBD10 is a novel Akt-interacting protein with a BTB/POZ domain, which equally binds to any Akt. BTBD10 appears to behave as a suppressor of cell death including neuronal cell death related to ALS and an enhancer of cell growth via its positive regulation of Akt phosphorylation. The protein is expressed ubiquitously in vivo, distributing in cells as a unique cytoplasmic filamentous around the nucleus. This antibody 16995-1-AP is raised against C-terminal 220 amino acids of full protein.
