• 

  WB analysis using 27413-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27413-1-AP (BMX antibody) at dilution of 1:800 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IF Staining of HepG2 using 27413-1-AP

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HepG2 cells using BMX antibody (27413-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Background Information

BMX (Bone marrow kinase on chromosome X) is a cytosolic tyrosine kinase and a member of the TEC kinase family. BMX is expressed in hematopoietic cells of the myeloid lineage where it participates in the immune response. Moreover, BMX is expressed in several types of cancers and very recently has been shown to mediate the survival and tumorigenicity of glioblastoma cancer stem cells (PMID: 22449076).
