  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue using ANK2 antibody (31080-1-AP) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Background Information

The Ankyrins, belonging to the adapter protein family, consist of Ankyrin-R (ANK1), Ankyrin-B (ANK2), and Ankyrin-G (ANK3). Initially, ANK2 was considered as a key cytoskeletal-associated protein in the brain. Besides, it was discovered as a pivotal adaptor and scaffolding protein in the heart.
