Background Information

The ATP binding cassette sub-family C member 10 (ABCC10), also named MRP7, is a cellular transmembrane protein transporter and belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) family. MRP7 is a lipophilic anion pump responsible for the transport of glucuronide E(2)17betaG and can confer resistance to chemotherapy drugs (PMID: 16868766). Since it is glycosylated, the apparent molecular weight of ABCC10 could be variable, ranging from 161 kDa to 191 kDa (PMID: 23087055; PMID: 24103790; PMID: 31338999; PMID: 34631561).
