The Role:

Proteintech is experiencing rapid growth in Europe and is now recruiting for a Scientific Marketing Specialist to be part of the European marketing team. The Scientific Marketing Specialist will work cross-functionally with several internal teams to drive awareness and revenue for the FlexAble antibody labelling product range and the Proteintech brand overall with focus on the DACH area (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a strategic plan for the FlexAble product line that promotes awareness and drives high revenue growth.

  • Manage and represent Proteintech at scientific conferences and smaller local events.

  • Build awareness of Proteintech and relationships with KOLs in relevant research areas.

  • Support the field-based sales team to meet their commercial goals with targeted campaigns and customer visits for the FlexAble product range.

  • Educate both internal teams and customers on your products via training, digital content, and webinars.

  • Continually seek and research new ideas for marketing campaigns and present them to senior management.

  • Develop or co-create compelling scientific marketing content for emails, marketing pieces, brochures, flyers, blogs, articles, whitepapers, technical product emails, summarising publications, social media campaigns, and events.

  • Work with the European marketing team to co-ordinate local initiatives in the DACH region to drive brand and product line awareness.

  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, sales, and product management teams to keep your product line competitive.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • A PhD degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related areas

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing, commercial R&D, sales, or product management role.

  • Extensive laboratory experience in microscopy, flow cytometry or other immunoassays highly desirable.

  • Fluent in German and English languages.

  • Excellent scientific communications skills both written and verbal.

  • High level of professional communication skills and networking experiences to proficiently interact with scientists at all seniority levels, e.g., PhD students to PIs and senior business leaders.

  • Independent, driven, and able to work on own initiative.
