  WB analysis using 28842-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 28842-1-AP (POLR3A antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Background Information

POLR3A encodes the largest subunit of human RNA polymerase III (RPC1), which contributes to the catalytic activity of Pol III and is part of the active centre of the polymerase. Pol III is responsible for the transcription of untranslated RNAs (PMID: 25339210). Bi-allelic missense variants in POLR3A have been associated with phenotypes distinct from WRS: hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and hypomyelinating leukodystrophy with or without oligodontia (PMID: 30414627).
