Abstract Title: Scalable Generation of Human IPSC-Derived Natural Killer and Dendritic Cells Using A Continuous Concurrent Production Platform.

"I am deeply honored to receive the prestigious travel grant from Proteintechfor the ISSCR 2024 Annual Meeting in Hamburg! This incredible opportunity allows me to share my research on a grand stage and engage with brilliant scientists from around the globe. I am immensely grateful for this chance to expand my knowledge, network with fellow researchers, and immerse myself in the latest scientific advancements. Thank you, Proteintech, for making this possible!"

Summary of Abstract:

Fawaz Saleh has revolutionized cell manufacturing with a cutting-edge platform using human iPSC technology. This innovative system enables the continuous production of iPSC-derived  Natural Killer cells (iNKs) and Dendritic cells (iDCs) for several months. The platform provides new insights into NK cell development. Additionally, the generated iNKs have shown remarkable efficacy in targeting and killing cancer cells. Meanwhile, the iDCs effectively stimulate effector memory and central memory phenotypes in CMV-positive patients. These groundbreaking early proof-of-concept approaches open up exciting new avenues for immune cell farming and next-generation biotherapeutics.
