    Neutralization experiment of NeutraKine® IL-4 using 69005-1-Ig

    Recombinant human IL-4 (Cat.NO. HZ-1004) stimulates proliferation of TF-1 cell line (human erythroleukemic cell line) in a dose-dependent manner (blue curve, refer to bottom X-left Y). The activity of human IL-4 (0.5 ng/mL HZ-1004) is neutralized by mouse anti-human IL-4 monoclonal antibody 69005-1-Ig at serial dose (red curve, refer to top X-right Y). The ND50 is typically 200-500 ng/mL.

ReconstitutionThis product was lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS. Reconstitute at 1.0 mg/mL in sterile H2O before use.
Stability and StorageLyophilized antibodies are stable for 1 year from the date of receipt if stored between (-20°C) and (-80°C). Upon reconstitution we recommend that the solution can be stored at (4°C) for short term or at (-20°C) to (-80°C) for long term. Repeated freeze thaw cycles should be avoided with reconstituted products.

Informations générales

IL4 is a cytokine produced by CD4+ T cells in response to helminthes and other extracellular parasites. It promotes the proliferation and differentiation of antigen presenting cells. IL4 also plays a pivotal role in antibody isotype switching and stimulates the production of IgE. This cytokine has been applied in the treatment of autoimmune disorder like multiple myeloma, cancer, psoriasis, and arthritis. IL4 has also been extensively applied to inhibit detrimental effect of Th1. It may promote the growth of epithelial tumors by mediating increased proliferation and survival.

This antibody can be used to neutralize the bioactivity of IL-4.
