Lymphoid-specific helicase(HELLS) is a member of the SNF2 family of chromatin remodeling proteins that is required for development and survival. It's required for de novo or maintenance DNA methylation, which mediated the silencing of the imprinted CDKN1C gene. Also it involved in formation and organization of heterochromatin that regulate transcription and mitosis.

In IF the antibody binds specific in the nucleus and has low background, thats great! In WB I have a band as aspected around 100kd but I also have some other smaller unspecific bands. Here I will work on the troubleshooting. Thanks for the corresponding protocolls with buffers and incubation time.

Great antibody for HELLS. Customer support was really helpful when I was troubleshooting how to clean up my western blot. Changed the path of my project since multiple bands for different isoforms of the protein appeared in the cell lines I was invesitgating.
