  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 10313-1-AP (CNOT2 antibody) at dilution of 1:3000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IF Staining of HEK-293 using 10313-1-AP

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (10% Formaldehyde) fixed HEK-293 cells using 10313-1-AP (CNOT2 antibody) at dilution of 1:50 and Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Hintergrundinformationen

The Ccr4-Not complex is evolutionarily conserved and controls gene expression both at the level of transcription initiation and of mRNA degradation. And this complex can regulate pol II transcription. Promoter targeting of CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 2 (CNOT2) results in strong repression of pol II transcription. CNOT2-mediated repression is sensitive to the HDAC (histone deacetylase) inhibitor, TSA (trichostatin A).
