• 

  WB analysis using 67024-1-Ig

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 67024-1-Ig (RAD51 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated Alpha Tubulin Monoclonal antibody (HRP-66031) as loading control.

  WB analysis of NIH/3T3 using 67024-1-Ig

  WB result of RAD51 antibody (67024-1-Ig; 1:1200; incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours) with sh-Control and sh-RAD51 transfected NIH/3T3 cells.

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: Maushodengewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Hintergrundinformationen

RAD51 plays a critical role in the maintenance of genomic integrity by functioning in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. It mediates homologous pairing and strand exchange in recombinatory structures known as RAD51foci in the nucleus. It also can bind to single and double stranded DNA and exhibits DNA-dependent ATPase activity. In addition, it has a role in regulating mitochondrial DNA copy number under conditions of oxidative stress in the presence of RAD51C and XRCC3.
