  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19548-1-AP (Myoferlin antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  FC experiment of HeLa using 19548-1-AP

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were stained with 0.2ug Myoferlin antibody (19548-1-AP, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 90% MeOH blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1000.

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: humanes Plazenta-Gewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Hintergrundinformationen

MYOF, also named as FER1L3 and KIAA1207, belongs to the ferlin family. MYOF is a calcium/phospholipid-binding protein that plays a role in the plasmalemma repair mechanism of endothelial cells that permits rapid resealing of membranes disrupted by mechanical stress. It is involved in endocytic recycling. MYOF is implicated in VEGF signal transduction by regulating the levels of the receptor KDR. The antibody can recognize all the 8 isoforms of MYOF.
