  FC experiment of MCF-7 using CL488-68235

  1X10^6 MCF-7 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human KIAA1429 (CL488-68235, Clone:3F1A4) (red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (MOPC-21) (CL488-65124, Clone: MOPC-21) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

VIRMA (KIAA1429) is a key component of m6A methyltransferase (writer) complex that include METTL3, METTL14, WTAP, VIRMA, HAKAI, ZC3H13, and RBM15. VIRMA mediates methylation in the 3'UTR and around the stop codon, thus affecting alternative polyadenylation. VIRMA has been reported to act as oncogenic factor in breast cancer and liver cancer.
