  WB analysis of PC-12 using 14266-1-AP

  PC-12 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14266-1-AP (ADRA2A Antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of mouse brain using 14266-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 14266-1-AP (ADRA2A Antibody) at dilution of 1:100 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

ADRA2A (Adrenoceptor Alpha-2) belongs to the adrenoceptor alpha-2 family of GPCRs coupled to the inhibitory G-alpha subunit (Gi) that suppresses adenylyl cyclase activity, thereby suppressing the cyclization of AMP to cAMP (PMID: 38132444). ADRA2A inhibits the flow of sympathetic nerves in the central nervous system and plays a major role in sedation, anxiolysis, and antinociception (PMID: 33915198).
