• 

  FC experiment of HepG2 using CL488-67916

  1X10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human PGD (CL488-67916, Clone:2A10G4) (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

• Flow Cytometry (FC): FC : 0.40 ug per 10^6 cells in a 100 µl suspension

Background Information

PGD, also named as PGDH, belongs to the 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase family. PGD catalyses the oxidative decarboxylation of 6-phosphogluconate to ribulose 5-phosphate in the context of the oxidative part of the pentose phosphate pathway. PGD is important for the production of NADPH, which is necessary for reductive biosynthesis, such as the formation of lipids and nucleotides, and the activity of enzymes involved in maintaining cell integrity, in combatting oxidative stress and in the first line of immunological defence.
