Background Information

FMO4, belongs to FMO (flavin containing monooxygenase) family, which catalyzes the oxidation of soft nucleophilic heteroatom centers in drugs, pesticides, and xenobiotics. FMO family has 1-5 members. 2 splicing variants of FMO4 were reported, according to 56kda and 63kda bands in SDS page. This antibody, generated by N-330 amino-acids of FMO4, can recognize the 2 variants and also cross-react with other FMO proteins.
